Kara Eilts, DVM is from Chalmette, LA and has been a resident of Slidell, LA for over 25 years. Dr. Kara is a 1995 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Kara enjoys spending time with her husband Darrell. She also loves her 2 yellow labrador retrievers, Nitrox and Scooter. When Dr. Kara is not caring for fur-babies she is scuba diving, riding motorcycles, or cruising around in her classic mustang.
Dr. Kara's son, Daniel, is a 2019 graduate of UNO Mechanical Engineering, now working for Blue Origin.
Dr. Kara's daughter, Rachel, is a 2024 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.

Beth Phelps, DVM was born in Illinois and moved to New Orleans, LA at 8 years of age. Dr. Beth graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Her professional interests include surgery and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Beth enjoys homeschooling her four children, spending time with her family on her blueberry farm, living for Jesus and spreading the gospel to people around the world. She has four dogs, Shiloh, Tootsie, Delilah, and Nikki, as well as one cat, Zorro.
Heidi Cobb, DVM is a native of Lafayette, LA and a 2008 graduate of LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Heidi completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine at Southeast Veterinary Specialists in Metairie, LA. She then practiced Emergency Medicine for two years before entering general practice. Dr. Heidi’s special interest include internal medicine and critical care.
While not caring for her patients, Dr. Heidi enjoys fishing, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Billy, her 2 dogs, Blanche and Boomer, as well as her 2 cats, Auggie and Dude.

Dallas Rice, DVM was born in Nevada and moved to Slidell, LA as a child. Dr. Dallas found her passion for animals at a young age and dreamed of being a veterinarian for as long as she can remember.
She graduated from Slidell High School in 2013 then moved to Baton Rouge to attend LSU undergraduate studies. Dr. Dallas graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She joined the Southern Pearl Veterinary Hospital team during her time at Veterinary school and continued working as a doctor after graduation. Dr. Dallas' professional interests include surgery, wound care, and internal medicine. When not caring for patients you can find her spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and bingeing the latest Netflix series. Dr. Dallas and her husband have 3 dogs, Samson, Yukon, and Tiki as well as a cat, Peaches.
